Christ Church Greenville is a small church with a big heart. We see the potential for more community outreach bringing the community into the church and the church into the community through in-person and virtual activities and livestreams. Many of our parishioners volunteer with and support community groups such as the school Adopt-a-family program and the local food pantry, or reach out to those that are shut in, in hospitals, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers. We offer our space for community support groups such as AA and Alanon. We also have held fundraisers to help groups that provide care to people around the world and started our own food pantry and fundraiser for kids called ‘Kids 2 Camp.’ We hope to call someone who will lead us in pastoral care, be a strong spiritual teacher, and who is accessible and relatable. |
