St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is a vibrant and historic parish located in the heart of Mobile’s Spring Hill community. Founded in 1851, we have a large and multi-generational congregation, with more than 900 families who are both rooted in tradition and growing in grace. We share a deep connection with our Early Education Center and with St. Paul’s Episcopal School—one of
the largest Episcopal schools in the nation. Our worship life is grounded in the beauty of the Book of Common Prayer, blending traditional liturgy with a spirit of joyful participation. We value thoughtful preaching and authentic pastoral presence. We also consider ourselves to be a generous and outward-facing congregation, but we desire to grow in Christ’s love through service to the wider community and world.The Associate Rector will serve as key member of our multi-clergy team, and will:
- Share in liturgical leadership, preaching, pastoral care, and sacramental ministry for both the church and schools
- Lead and coordinate Christian formation programs for people of all ages
- Support youth and family ministries and Christian mission efforts
- Encourage and equip lay leadership in all areas of parish life

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary package and full pension and medical benefits. We seek a relational and energetic priest who will serve as key member of our multi-clergy team, and be a visible and active presence in both the parish and the wider Mobile community.
