Associate Rector of Faith Formation

St. John’s Episcopal Church (SJC) in Wilmington, NC is a 500+ member rapidly growing, vibrant, joyful congregation, dedicated to an ancient-future liturgical tradition, with a vision for mission and ministry that exalts Christ and helps others discover their purpose through the gospel.  We are seeking a full-time Associate Rector to join our dynamic team of clergy and lay leaders.

The Associate will report to and work in close partnership with the Rector to execute the vision and assist in overseeing and facilitating the ministry of SJC. The Associate will have responsibilities for faith formation and pastoral care and will interact with our Preschool. The Associate will be a trusted and dependable collaborator with the ability to connect with and minister to an intergenerational community. The successful candidate will initiate and develop new projects.
