| We are recruiting for a full-time Program Assistant for Training & Advocacy for the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, known as the Episcopal Church in Connecticut (ECCT).
Reporting directly to the Canon for Advocacy, Racial Justice, & Reconciliation (ARJR) and the Director for Training & Clergy Support, this position is responsible for providing administrative and technical support for the Safe Church Training Program and Racial Justice Training Programs, and also responsible for providing high-level administrative assistance to the Canon for ARJR. Principal duties include: securing venues for training; providing general assistance to training facilitators; registration; hospitality duties; tracking contractual obligations; providing technical assistance for online and hybrid events; processing invoices; and tracking attendance. Other duties include troubleshooting participant challenges with ECCT’s learning management system and online communication tools. They also document participation of church leaders in training and conduct background checks for trainers.
