Job Description
	Through a process of discernment and deep listening, we identified our strengths and weaknesses. We believe that God is calling us to be a welcoming, supportive and safe presence in our community. Our Average Sunday Attendance (ASA) is 20 and the average age of our parishioners is 66. Most of us are college educated and many of us are retired. We are the only Episcopal Churches in Turlock, with the next closest being St Paul’s Modesto. As an Episcopal community, we have experienced a lot of change over the years and have identified that we need a stronger and more visible presence in our community. The areas we feel God is calling us to pay attention to are: -Growing as a congregation spiritually, financially, and in the ways in which we engage the surrounding community. -Identifying our gifts and skills, and inviting others from the Turlock community into mission and ministry -Furthering our prayer life through a variety of opportunities: bible study, mid-week Eucharist, and formation. We feel these opportunities are a way for us to deepen our faith and welcome others to community prayer life. -Developing a relationship with UC Stanislaus students, faculty and staff -Growing and developing our food ministry -Growing into a leader of the Northern Deanery. As our community grows in cohesion and leadership, we can expand our community presence.
